If you are searching for a getaway out of the city and some great scenery I would suggest going to the Hill of Slane. This historical and gorgeous site has some of the best views I have ever seen in Ireland. While walking inside the towers, I felt as though I was an eager and excited kid again exploring the inside a playground that looked like a castle. The winding stairs and big open windows have spectacular views of the surrounding areas that are definitely worth seeing. My visit to Hill of Slane was a great decision and I am so happy I got to see this one of a kind landmark.
